Restricted Access & Specialist Drilling
We provide compact rotary drilling solutions for restricted-access sites, enabling ground investigations where conventional rigs cannot operate.
Our system combines window sampling and rotary drilling capability, allowing us to progress from shallow investigation into harder ground and bedrock using coring, open-hole drilling, water flush, and compressor support.
Key capabilities:
- Fits through standard doorways for internal access works
- Suitable for tight-access and constrained sites
- Capable of advancing beyond window sampling refusal depths
- Rotary coring into dense strata
- Reduced mobilisation requirements suitable for small-scale investigations
Particularly suited to:
- Extending boreholes into dense strata or rock
- Small-scale or phased investigation works
- Sites where full-size rotary mobilisation is disproportionate
Our compact rotary system provides a more efficient and cost-effective alternative to full-size rotary rigs, while still achieving the required depth and ground data.

In-Situ Testing
We provide a range of in-situ testing services to support ground investigation works and geotechnical assessment.
Testing is carried out in accordance with relevant standards and project requirements.

- Standard Penetration Testing (SPTs)
- Standpipe installations

- Gas monitoring
Drainage Testing
We carry out BRE365 soakaway testing to support drainage design and planning requirements on residential and commercial developments.
Testing is undertaken in accordance with BRE365 guidelines, providing accurate infiltration rates for the design of soakaways and sustainable drainage systems (SuDS).
